Meeting Room Rental Terms & Conditions

By making a reservation with Space 530, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

CANCELLATION

  • Hourly Rentals: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours (excluding weekends) prior to the scheduled start time to receive a full refund.

  • Daily Rentals: Cancellations must be made at least five (5) business days prior to the scheduled start time to receive a full refund.

  • Market Week Rentals:

    • Daily Market Week Rentals: Cancellations must be made at least six (6) weeks prior to the scheduled start time for a full refund.

    • Hourly Market Week Rentals: All reservations are non-refundable.

  • Refund Process: If you are eligible for a refund, Space 530 will process the refund to the credit card used for the original booking.

  • Cancellation Request: To request a cancellation, please email info@space530.com or call 212-488-7700.

  • Late Cancellations: Failure to comply with the cancellation terms will result in the forfeiture of any refund, and the user will be charged the full amount of the reservation.

RULES & REGULATIONS

  • Booking Times: All booking start and end times are inclusive of setup and cleanup. Early deliveries, storage of items, or usage extending beyond the booked time will incur additional charges.

  • Additional Charges: If the reservation exceeds the reserved period, or if additional services are requested, charges will be processed to the credit card on file. Extended usage or added services are subject to the standard rates.

  • Market Week Rentals:

    • For Market Week room rates, please contact us at info@space530.com for the applicable rates and dates.

    • Additional charges incurred during Market Week will be billed separately to the user’s credit card on file.

    • Market Week requires a daily minimum for reservations made more than three weeks in advance.

    • Promo codes and discounts are not valid during Market Week. If a promo code is applied, the additional due will be charged to user’s card on file to reflect the full Market Week rate.

  • Extended Hours:

    • Reservations with a start time prior to 9:00 AM and/or an end time after 6:00 PM are subject to approval.

    • These bookings will be billed at 1.5 times the standard hourly rate.

    • The additional charge for extended hours will be processed via the credit card on file.

  • Packages & Deliveries:

    • Deliveries and/or packages sent before your booking will incur a storage fee: $50 per suitcase, $25 per box.

    • A $25 delivery fee applies for receiving and signing for packages.

    • For post-booking storage, the rate is between $25-$100 per hour depending on the duration and size.

  • Furniture: Furniture can be rearranged within the reserved room, but it must be returned to its original configuration by the end of the booking.

  • Barco TV Adapter: The Barco ClickShare adapter must be returned to the front desk after use. Failure to return the Barco will result in a charge for the replacement cost, which will be processed to the card on file.

  • Cleanliness & Trash: Please clean up after yourself and return the room to the condition in which you found it. If there is excess trash that doesn’t fit in the room's trash bin, please check in with the Space 530 staff for guidance on disposal. A cleaning fee will apply if trash is left scattered or improperly disposed of.

  • Damage & Liability: The user is responsible for any damage to the space, equipment, or property beyond normal wear and tear. Any repair or replacement costs will be processed through the user’s credit card.

  • Access to Space: The user and their guests have access only to the reserved room. Use of other common areas or co-working spaces is not included.

  • Filming & Photoshoots: All filming or photoshoots require prior approval from Space 530. Please contact info@space530.com for approval.

  • Castings: Castings are only allowed if pre-approved. If approved, a staff member must be stationed at the entrance to direct guests.

  • Prohibited Activities:

    • Smoking and pets are strictly prohibited in the premises.

    • Space 530 reserves the right to terminate services for users who are repeat offenders of our policies.

  • Staff Availability: Space 530 staff is available on-site from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
